A Perfect Meeting: AKA When You Don't Want to Strangle the Speaker

Have you ever worked for several weeks or even months, often far beyond normal business hours, at a special meeting of the event just to turn it into a perfect storm. Well, maybe the whole crew did not perish at sea, but they are clearly identifiable moments when it seemed as if the ship was about to capsize. Although many meetings goblins can contribute to such disasters, sometimes the speaker may be one of the causes that contribute. How such horrors can be avoided?

together with the preliminary issue of whether the speaker, given the good intentions, there is time to invest in your event? It is often possible to squeeze a few more hours in an already overloaded schedule for another "hit and run" commitment, but it is fair to the meeting planner, clients and audiences. Let's face it, good speakers today are well compensated for what they do. It is fair, but it's also fair to give me a good deal of effort in return and that does not mean that race is an engagement dog tired, speaking and running for the airport before the audience is still applauding. Unfortunately, in this day of frequent and lengthy flight delays, but there are enough unexpected late arrivals in the wee hours of the morning and the attendant lack of sleep. It may be totally out of control speakers, however, if you really want to serve, they will use their best efforts to schedule enough time for your engagement, so that they do what they can get a fresh, relaxed and ready mentally and physically for their event.

Finally, look for AAA approval: ability, authenticity and attitude. With these three attributes at the helm, you can not go wrong in choosing speakers!
