Make Sure Your Web Design Matches Your Target Audience

I'm talking about creating a profile of your ideal visitor in the previous article on "simple on-line survey, so I will not repeat the same ideas here. But the real task is to match your primary target audience for the style, tone and presentation of your website.

What I mean by that? Well, if you were selling to children, you want cool and funky, or a website for older people can be authentic, relaxed with conservative colors or sports men and women you could use a sharp, action and strong colors. Put yourself in their shoes and visitors to use your imagination.

Credibility is an important issue, especially if you are selling products online. Readers can strongly influence a professional, well-designed site. And knowing who your readers is important when you decide on the tone, images, headlines and content.

How do you make your point? If it is controversial, you might want a large bold headline issues that provoke a response. You May want to educate your visitor, so that the content key, or you May want to be entertained with cartoons and drawings.

So what else do you need to consider?

2) What are your visitors thinking about your products or topic? What are their beliefs and behaviors? For example, gym members often want to look good in their skin and have been actively involved in healthy persuits

For example, if the cool dude in the game and surfing? If so, do you understand your audience, if they want to sell the latest gaming consoles, cheats, and accessories for funky, colorful, with its cartoon characters and action video clips.

So, put together the identity of a statement about who you are and what you stand for. Then translate it into colors, sounds, images and typography. What kind of impression you give? Great, subtle, refined, in-your-face? What's your style? What music would you choose? What period in history does not favor your site?
