Web Design - When Should You Redesign Your Site?

If you build a website, and it is currently running, you may be wondering after half a year or so, if a redesign is in order. On the Web is changing so fast it is sometimes important to know when and when not to redesign.

first place to start is to ask "Why do I redesign this ?"

If you can give yourself a clear and concise answer to this question, including the parts that need to be improved and for what purpose, do not do anything in a hurry. If the page works well with current styles and themes, why change just for arms?

However, if your site has not changed in five years and there is some vital new technology that is now an industry standard such as social book marking, or some other gizmo that is standard in the industry that still work - maybe a face lift in OK, as if your site looks like it might have lost the old visitors who do not take seriously your site.

Another equally important thing to remember is: if you have a specific style for a long period - and then complete it on your head, your visitors May be so embarrassed that he should not leave the place thinking the company has changed or that the incorrect address.

Keep these things in mind, and remember not to create more work than necessary. Perhaps your efforts might be better spent publishing your current web site, rather than redesign.
